Amy L. Vitale, Lighting Designer
Amy Vitale has a significant amount of experience as a lighting consultant designing lighting solutions for interior and exterior spaces. She has worked with many clients to tailor designs to fit a wide range of specific needs and budgets.
She received her degree in Architectural Engineering in 1986 from the University of Colorado where she specialized in lighting design. Following her formal education, she joined Horton Lees Lighting Design in New York City where her primary focus was developing lighting systems for large commercial office projects. In 1992, she joined Novasel Lighting Design in Westport, CT where her focus was residential lighting design.
Amy Vitale started her own business in 1995, ALV Lighting Solutions. She has worked on many residential projects, including new houses and renovation projects ranging from a small kitchen to a complete design for a 15,000 sq. ft. house. In addition, she has designed lighting for restaurants, small offices and churches. Her clients have been owners, architects, kitchen designers, and general contractors. Her goal is to provide clients with innovative and practical lighting solutions that provide the lighting environment they desire.
